My favorite part of work is the opportunity to collaborate with a family on the design aspects of a loved one's monument. Personalizing a monument—whether that is by featuring a special memory, showcasing one's passions, or sharing what made that person unique and special—can be such a rewarding experience as a designer, but even more so when the family's expectations are exceeded.

During my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking and baking, and quilting. I also love to travel, hike, and go horseback riding when possible.
